Ora Egbert Darrington, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2008.
She was born September 3rd, 1921 to Marion Francis and Xenia LaVere Egbert in Oakley, Idaho.
She was raised in Murtaugh, Idaho along with 1 brother and 4 sisters. She received her formal education at Albion State Normal. While teaching at Declo Elementary she met her eternal companion Melvin Boyd Darrington. They were married May 19, 1943 in the S.L.C. Temple. To this union were born 1 daughter and 6 sons. Ora raised her family to work hard, laugh hard and play hard.
