LouCil "Dusty" Swain

1931 - 2008

LouCil “DUSTY” Swain made her transition at age 76 on May 3, 2008.

She was born August 12, 1931 in North Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High and attended Weber College. She had a thirst for knowledge and took many classes to satisfy her curious mind.

Dusty married Bob Busico on March 11, 1950 and was blessed with four beautiful children Steven Craig, Cinda Kae, Robert Edward and Ricky John. She was also blessed with 9 grandchildren. Brandy, Steven’s daughter; Calley, Charles, Peter, and James Hansen, Cinda and (Gordon) Hansens’ children, Brittney and Brooke, Robert and (Dovie’s) daughters and Kristen and Cassie, Rick’s daughters, and finally Alec, great grandson and son of Calley Baty. She dissolved her marriage to Bob and later married Carl “Duff” Swain of Vernal, Utah.

Dusty suffered a stroke in 2002 which continued to affect her health to the end.

She remembered fondly the wonderful people she worked with at Risk Management IHC.

She was proceded in death by her brothers Delbert and Gordon Chatelain and survived by a sister Viola Tracy and brothers LaVere, (Delida), Eugene (Lou Anne) and Russell (Vickie) Chatelain.

Dusty desired that she be cremated with ashes spread over Lake Louise in Canada. The most beautiful area she had ever seen.

A Memorial to Dusty’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sat. May 10th at Memorial Mortuary 5850 South 900 East.
