Karen Francis Berman, 43, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008.
She was born June 20, 1964 in Torrance, California the daughter of Eugene and Winona Marie Weeks Morris. Karen married Michael Mark Berman on August 7, 1981 in Spokane, Washington.
Karen was good in business, opening and operating several small businesses. There were many employees who loved her. She was very generous to others and a philantropist.
She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was a good listener and an avid reader.
Surviving are her husband Michael Berman, Clearfield; two sons, Adam Bradley Berman, Fredricksburg, VA; Lance James Berman, Clearfield; three daughters, Melissa Jo Sutton, Salt Lake City; Jennifer Marie Berman, Ogden; Megan Ashley Berman, Clearfield; one grandchild, Evan Callison, her parents, Eugene and Winona Morris, Gig Harbor, WA; two brothers, Lance Morris, Rimrock, AZ; Chris Morris, Roy; and sister, LaDonna Smith, Bremerton, WA.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Diane Berman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
