1923  -  2008

Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, Coral Nielsen Peisley, died May 5, 2008. She was born December 6, 1923 in South Jordan, Utah, to James and Mary Goff Nielsen. Married Douglas K. Peisley March 14, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death.

Coral was an active member in the LDS Church and served in various positions. She was a devoted temple worker for 28 years in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples.

Coral loved and enjoyed all the holidays; she enjoyed singing and tole painting, but her greatest joys were spending time with her family and her temple work.

Survived by sons Paul (Betty) of Riverton, Scott (Karen) of Bountiful and Robert (Sherri) of South Jordan; 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and brother Allen G. (Fern) Nielsen of West Jordan. Preceded in death by grandson and two great grandsons.

A special thanks to the staff at Garden Terrace and Affinity Hospice for their care. Also a big thank you to Dr. Frederick Gottlieb.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Riverton 3rd Ward 12070 So. Laurel Chase Dr. (1500 W.). Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and Saturday 1 hour prior at the church. Interment South Jordan City Cemetery.
