Dorothy Elva Rigby, age 86 passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 after a long struggle with kidney failure.
She was born July 1, 1921 in Fairview, Utah to Thomas M. and Elva L. Rigby.
She married Blaine Mower in 1938 in the Manti Temple. Was later divorced.
She served 3 missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nauvoo.
Dorothy relished her two trips to Israel and her involvement in Reagan’s Presidential Campaign.
She is survived by daughter Barbara Lynn Jeppson, San Diego, 2 grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, brothers; Alden (Eleen), Bountiful, Jay (Marilyn), Orem, Kay, Tooele and sister Norma R. Bench, Riverton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at 11:00 am at River Ridge 6th Ward 10191 So. 1005 W., South Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:00 until 10:45 prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Fairview City Cemetery
