Katie Maria Aragon, age 86, died on May 8, 2008, in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on June 8, 1921, in El Vado, New Mexico to Nicolas and Elena Romero.
She married Ramon Aragon. She loved watching wrestling, shopping and going to Wendover. She liked going to restaurants and double quarter pounders without cheese.
She is survived by daughter Sadie Martinez; sons Benny Aragon, Ray Aragon and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Aragon; son Alfred Aragon and daughter Lonnie Avalos.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, UT. A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley, UT. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.memorialutah.com.
