William E. Poulson, 88, passed away Saturday in Murray, UT from natural causes.

Born August 14, 1919, in Richfield, UT to Ernest Lorenzo Poulson and Rua Frances Stewart.

Married Sarah Beth Lamie on September 11, 1945, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She preceded him in death on November 30, 1971.

He later married Elizabeth Ann Maxwell Carling in 1973. She also preceded him in death on October 9, 2007.

After serving in the US Army during WWII he returned to work for Graybar Electric, retiring after 29 yrs. He was then President of Pioneer Electric for 20 yrs. He was a volunteer for the BSA for most of his life.

He was active in the LDS church and served three consecutive missions in the Family History Library.

Preceded in death by his father and mother, a brother John S Poulson and sister, R Jane Cromar.

He is survived by children John Poulson (Vickie), Mark Poulson (Suzanne) Scott Poulson (Nancy) and Jon Carling (Megan), Steven Carling (Jennifer) and Cara Collier (Alan), 21 grand children and 8 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary, 255 South 200 East at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
