Charlie “Brent” Phillips passed away Friday, May 9, 2008 at his home surrounded by family. Brent was born on December 9, 1949 in Rigby Idaho. He was the fifth child of Lee and Wanda Phillips. Brent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After serving his mission, in the California Central Mission, he married Elena Twilegar in the Idaho Falls temple. He served in many capacities including bishop and high councilor. Brent attended Ricks College and graduated from BYU.
Brent was proceeded in death by his father and mother Lee and Wanda Phillips, and a sister Beth Brown.
Brent leaves behind his wife, Elena and five children. Michael Phillips, Angie White(John), Sara Dibba(E.B.) Charlie Phillips(Shannin) and Kimberly Baggs (Andy), his three grand-children Victoria Phillips, Valorey Lund, and Jaxon White.
We thank the health professionals who helped him over the years, especially Doctors Badger, Huang, and Guaru.
A viewing will be held at Walker Mortuary in Provo on Tuesday, May 13th from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 14th at 11:00am in the Marrott Meadows LDS Chapel (2400 W 50 N, Provo) with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30am just prior to the services.
