Jack Reed, 56, died October 21, 2009 in Ogden. He was born July 6, 1953 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas the son of Wil Reed and Bert Ella Buckley Reed.
Upon Living in Utah Jack enrolled in Job Corps. For 2 years where he trained for Auto Diesel machinist and heavy equipment. After graduation Jack was employed by Circle A Construction where he proudly worked for 15 years. He also enjoyed making new friends.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings: Alberta V. Buckley Brim and Elijah Buckley Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 brothers Gary W. McClellan, Robert C. McClellan and Bruce A. Gray, all of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, two sisters Gilda F. McClellan of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Wanda (Leslie) Jones of Manchester, Arkansas. His niece and nephews as follows: Jackqualine Greene of Arkadelphia, Fredia Newborn of Joan Arkansas, Leasha Ann Taylor of Arkadelphia, Reginaldo Bubba Brim of Arkadelphia, Paula Wesley of Garland Texas and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary of Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd.
Jack will be dearly missed by all his friends in Arkansas and Utah but never out of mind. He loved living in Utah and always wanted to come home. (We) Jacks family would like to thank you for all that you have done to make Jacks life comfortable here and we also want to thank you for your love and support during this very difficult time. If Jack was here he would thank you all very much. With much love to those in Arkansas that knew him as “Speedy” and dear friends in Utah that knew Wallace as “Jack”.
Interment will be in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
