Nathan Andrew Edgar tragically passed away October 25, 2009 in Layton, Utah. He was born on December 26, 1992 in Salt Lake City and was the fourth son and fifth child of Gerald and Shauna Edgar.
Nathan's family will remember him as a fun, tender hearted boy who loved jokes and music. He was a very talented musician who played several instruments, many self-taught. His creative personality included composing his own music, art and poetry. He especially loved video games, donuts, bacon burgers at Carl’s Jr., egg McMuffins and gummy bears, and was a connoisseur of good root beer.
Nathan was very intelligent and often proved his genius by showing up older family members in matters of wit and knowledge. He had a ready laugh and was amused by the absurdities of everyday life. He was kind, especially to his canine and feline family members and had many friends. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and often expressed his strong testimony to those he loved, whether by words or action. He was a light in our lives and his family loves him and misses him daily.
He is survived by his parents, siblings; Lowell Taylor Edgar of Salt Lake City, Amy (Allen) Schaugaard of Roy, Barrett, Austin and Anne Edgar of Layton, his grandmother, Colleen Bird Bishop of Boise, Idaho, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday October 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerhaze Ward LDS Church at 380 S. Fairfield Road in Layton. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services on Friday.
